RESTORATIVE ECONOMIC FORUM OF HOPE WOMEN’S ACCESS AND WOMEN’S PROTECTION

UNIPA News (Jakarta). May 9, 2026. Protection for women and children is essential. Women are born as gentle creatures. Women must fight to maintain their self-esteem and future in silence. Even though women don’t speak out loud, they always do a Participation to protect young women and children through educational writing or posts for women.

In Indonesia, there is widespread harassment and even rape of women. Beatings and violence, verbal abuse, and torture of women must be dealt with.

Perpetrators of rape against women should be given life imprisonment and the death penalty. Rapists must be eliminated from this world. So they can’t be treated like this towards the victims.

“We must fight, be noisy, fight, be persistent, and be consistent in empowerment. We will always be the object of violence,” said Vice Minister for Protection of Women and Children, Veronica Tan in the Restorative Economy forum “The Rising of Hope” at the Bambu Komodo campus, Labuan Bajo, NTT.

There are 6 Decrees (SK) on Women’s Social Forestry with Community Forest Schemes issued Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia on Kartini Day April 21, 2026. It was recorded that 93% of beneficiaries were women.

The Decree was given to women’s groups in four districts in East Nusa Tenggara, namely Manggarai, West Manggarai, East Manggarai and Sikka.

When women are given access, real change is born for the community and a bright future for the women.
