    Effort Quality of State Islamic University in collaboration with Leiden University

    UNIPA News(Jakarta) 28 February 2026:Secretary General The Minister of Religion Prof. Dr. Phil Kamaruddin Amin, and the Rector/President of Leiden University, Prof. Dr. Luc Sels, signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) in the Netherlands on February 23, 2026.

    Minister of Religion of Indonesia said that this collaboration is beneficial for both parties. “This collaboration must be carried out in a well-structured manner in the form of a double degree S3 Doctorate Degree, joint publication, professor exchange, summer course, etc. As a quick win for this collaboration program, an international collaboration program will be held in 2026 with Professor exchange, summer courses and visiting Professors in Indonesia or the Netherlands.

    The signing was witnessed by the Special Staff of the Minister of Religion, Dr. Farid Saenong, Director of Islamic Higher Education (PTKI) Prof.Dr.Phil Sahiron, M.A and Head of PTKI Sub-Section, Ajang Pradita.

    This synergy is carried out to strengthen cooperation and friendship between the two countries in the fields of higher education, academic collaboration, and human resource exchange and collaboration in the field of research, according to Kamaruddin Amin.
