The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued an urgent advisory calling on its citizens to immediately leave Iran, Israel, and Lebanon due to escalating tensions in the Middle East.
In a series of posts published Friday on social media platform X, the ministry warned that the regional security situation remains highly unstable, with a significant risk of further escalation.
“The security situation in the Middle East is unstable. The risk of escalation is high. Airspace for civilian traffic may be closed. Return by air may be impossible or significantly hindered,” the ministry stated.
Polish authorities emphasized that commercial flight operations could be disrupted at short notice if the situation deteriorates. Officials fear that sudden airspace closures could leave travelers stranded, making evacuation difficult.
The advisory reflects growing international concern over rising geopolitical tensions in the region, which have already prompted several countries to review travel guidance for their nationals.
Poland’s foreign ministry has urged citizens currently in the affected countries to prioritize their safety and make arrangements to depart as soon as possible while commercial routes remain operational.
