UNIPA News (Padang). April 7, 2026– The prospective Hajj pilgrims from Padang City are placed in the Padang Embarkation Hajj Dormitory, West Sumatra, Indonesia. This Hajj season is highly waited for all prospective pilgrims throughout the world. On April 6, 2026, The Mayor of Padang, Mr. Fadly Amran, MBA, received a visit from the Head of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Office of Padang City, Mr. Zulfahmi at Padang City Hall. Mr. Fadly Amran, MBA said that the comfort of prospective Hajj pilgrims in Padang City must be prioritized. All support is given to “Guests of Allah” so that during the departure process until returning to Indonesia they can experience comfort, order and solemnity. The Mayor of Padang said, “Of course we will facilitate the hajj Pilgrims from Transportation, Food Consumption, Health to supporting facilities before entering Embarkation. All Hajj pilgrims are divided into six groups. The first group will enter the dormitory on April 23, 2026 at 6:00 am in Indonesian. Before dawn, the entire group was at the Nurul Iman Mosque. Mr. Zulfahmi and his party expressed his gratitude to all the support of the Padang City Government in facilitating the Alhaj Pilgrims. “Alhamdulillah, The Padang city government is very helpful in providing the necessary facilities, from transportation to embarkation to consumption of the Alhaj Pilgrims,” he said. Mr. Zulfahmi confirmed that all pilgrims’ documents have been completed and that Hajj preparation has been completed through city-level Hajj rituals from February 8-12, 2026. Six groups of Alhaj Pilgrims will be sent off with full facilities from the Padang City Government.
