West Sumatra should be proud of the good performance of its three regions, namely Bukittinggi which won third place in the category of best and cleanest city in controlling inflation, South Solok Regency which won third place in the category of best and cleanest city in controlling inflation, and South Solok Regency which won third place in the category of best and cleanest city in controlling inflation, South Solok Regency won first place in reducing unemployment rates, and Mentawai won second place in reducing unemployment.
On April 25, 2026 in Palembang, South Sumatra Mr. Mahyeldi Ansharullah S.P, M.M The Governor of West Sumatra attend Regional Government Outstanding Appreciation Award 2026 and expressed his gratitude for the national awards received by the three regions of West Sumatra.
This National Award is organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) in Palembang, South Sumatra.
This prestigious award is part of the central government’s policy to encourage improved regional government performance through fiscal incentive schemes. in Law no. 1 of 2022 (UU no.1 Thn 2022).
This law defines the financial relationship between the central government and regional governments and provides space for performance-based awards.
The four assessment categories from the Ministry of Home Affairs are poverty reduction and stunting, creative financing, and inflation control.
The Regional Government with the best performance received Fiscal Incentives with the description of First Place of IDR 3 Billion, Second Place of IDR 2 Billion and Third Place of IDR 1 Billion.
This achievement makes all parties proud in strengthening synergy and maintaining consistency in presenting programs that have a direct impact on the community.
Accompanied by a number of high-ranking officials in the West Sumatra provincial government environment, including the Head of the Research and Development Agency, Febrina Tri Susila Putri, Head of the Manpower and Transmigration Service Firdaus Firman, Head of Bappeda Zefnihan and Head of General Bureau Andree Harmadi Algamar.
Hopefully the West Sumatra Government always be successful for the sake of the Indonesian people.
