Brazilian football star Neymar is set to become a father for the fifth time after confirming that he and his partner Bruna Biancardi are expecting another child.

The couple announced the news through a video shared on social media, revealing that their upcoming baby will be a girl. In the video, Neymar and Bruna appeared alongside their daughters, Mavie and Mel, as well as Neymar’s eldest son, Davi, from a previous relationship. The gender reveal concluded with pink-colored paint, indicating the couple is expecting a daughter.

Bruna Biancardi also shared the announcement on her social media accounts, confirming the family’s latest addition.

The new baby will be Neymar’s fifth child. In addition to daughters Mavie and Mel with Bruna Biancardi and son Davi from a previous relationship, Neymar is also the father of Helena, who was born in 2024 from his relationship with model Amanda Kimberlly.

The family announcement comes as Neymar continues his recovery from a calf injury that has kept him out of action. The injury was reportedly sustained during a match for Santos FC in May.

Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti recently said the forward was working intensively on his rehabilitation and expressed hope that Neymar would return to training soon.

Neymar, one of Brazil’s most prolific international players, has scored 79 goals for the national team during his international career.
