UNIPA News (Padang). May 5, 2026. Coding and animation classes are in high demand by Junior High School students and Elementary school students in Padang City, West Sumatra, Indonesia.
This commitment was conveyed by the Mayor of Padang Mr. Fadly Amran, MBA when receiving a visit from PIAGEX Hero 2026 on April 28, 2026. This audience was attended by Lecturers from the Animation Study Program, Vocational School, Padang State University (UNP).
The lecturer was named Bayu R. Fajri, as the initiator of PIAGEX Hero 2026, Head of the Animation Laboratory of UNP Vocational School Wiki Lovandri, as well as the owner of Devata Studio, Radev Muhammad Aziz, and a number of students Prodi UNP Vocational School Animation.
Mr. Fadly Amran, MBA explains Coding and animation program at Elementary school and Junior High school levels integrated through extracurricular activities and educational curriculum to get to know and master technology from an early age.
“It has been provided a Studio at Bagindo Aziz Chan Youth Center and will be equipped with Coding and animation learning infrastructure in schools in stages.”
The implementation of PIAGEX Hero 2026 will be held in Padang on July 2026. This is the best collaboration between the Padang City Government, academics and coding and animation industry players.
Hopefully with the PIAGEX Hero 2026 Coding and animation program training will produce a smart and creative young generation in the growth of the game and animation industry in Indonesia.
