The Conseil Électoral Provisoire and the United Nations Development Programme organized a capacity-building workshop on Friday, May 22, 2026, aimed at strengthening the skills of officials within Haiti’s electoral institution.
This initiative was carried out under the framework of the Electoral Process Support Project in Haiti (PAPEH), a program financially managed by the United Nations Development Programme to support the country’s electoral governance and institutional development.
According to organizers, the workshop focused on harmonizing participants’ knowledge regarding several technical and administrative aspects of electoral project management.
Key discussions addressed procurement procedures, payment systems, partnership mechanisms, and accountability practices designed to improve coordination and transparency throughout the electoral process.
The initiative reflects ongoing efforts by Haitian authorities and international partners to reinforce institutional capacity and support the organization of credible and effective electoral operations in Haiti.
