Women and children were traumatized by the massive floods. The victims lacked food, clothing, and adequate shelter.
They only live in temporary tents and bathe in floodwater because there is no clean water.
The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) reported that the death toll reached 1,006, with 414 deaths in Aceh, 349 in North Sumatra, and 242 in West Sumatra.
Vice Governor of West Sumatra: Vasko Ruseimy and Special Staff of the President of Indonesia Dr. Raffi Ahmad visited the location of flood victims in Lubuk Alung, Pasia Laweh, West Sumatra, Padang (Indonesia) at December 14, 2025.
Dr. Raffi Ahmad provided 5 billion rupiah in aid to all flood victims in West Sumatra, Padang, Indonesia. He hopes that all victims will receive food, clothing, and shelter.
