UNIPA News | Dubai| 13 July-Lee Andrews, the reported partner of British television personality Katie Price, has allegedly been arrested in Dubai in connection with an ongoing financial dispute, according to multiple media reports.
The reported arrest took place on Friday after Andrews, 42, was taken to Lahbab Police Station while reportedly attempting to raise approximately £120,000 to settle outstanding financial obligations. The incident comes only weeks after he was released from Dubai’s Al Awir prison, where he had spent four weeks over separate financial matters.
According to reports, Andrews contacted a close associate shortly after the alleged arrest, saying he had been detained and suggesting that Katie Price might need to assist with bail while also mentioning the possibility of launching a crowdfunding campaign.
Media reports indicate that Price is currently in the United Kingdom with her son, Harvey, and is awaiting developments regarding the situation. There has been no official confirmation that she is involved in the legal proceedings.
The reported legal issues are said to be linked to unpaid debts accumulated while Andrews was living in the United Arab Emirates. These reportedly include an outstanding luxury vehicle rental bill dating back to 2022, valued at approximately £54,000, and an alleged unpaid legal fee of around £15,000 owed to a UAE law firm. Previous reports stated that his earlier imprisonment was related to financial obligations rather than new criminal allegations.
The latest reports emerge during the same week that Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, a new documentary featuring Price, premiered. In the programme, she discusses her personal life, financial challenges, and relationships, stating that the documentary was intended to present an unfiltered account of her experiences.
Authorities in Dubai have not publicly commented on the latest reported arrest, and the allegations remain subject to official legal proceedings.
