Education in schools from elementary, junior high school and senior high school will be more effective than studying online from home.

Face-to-face meetings with teachers are more able to help students in the learning process. Responses or feedback are more clearly revealed during question-and-answer sessions. Teachers can provide emotional intimacy through questions.

Emotional Closeness Questions can be seen from teachers approaching students’ seats to ask how they are and how far they understand a lesson.

Teachers can also pat students’ heads as a reward for their achievements in understanding a lesson.

Online learning from home is very different. Students can only watch and listen to the teacher’s lessons on a laptop or computer screen.

Teachers can only greet or praise the best results of students’ lessons without patting a student’s head or shaking their hand.

On March 24, 2026, the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Praktikno. He conveyed the importance of ensuring that the students’ learning process continues as usual.

His party communicated with the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education (Mendikdasmen) and Minister of Religion (Menag).

Mr. Praktikno emphasized that in the education sector, the learning process must be increasingly optimal and learning loss must not occur.

Thus, the implementation of the learning process is prioritized to continue offline for students.

“”It is crucial to maintain the quality of student education. The discussion between the Ministers that online learning for students is not an urgent matter at this time,” said Minister Praktikno.

Although previously, Mr. Praktikno also mentioned the government’s plan to hold Hybrid learning, namely a combination of online and offline learning.
Because this was done to anticipate the energy crisis due to the Middle East conflict between the United States-Israel and Iran.

Hopefully offline learning will bring Indonesia to a brighter future. Education in Indonesia can produce a generation of students who are religious, ethical and cultured.
