WASHINGTON, July 15 — US President Donald Trump said the United States will expand its military campaign against Iran next week to include strikes on power plants and bridges if Tehran does not enter negotiations.

In an interview with Fox News on Tuesday, Trump said the planned escalation would target critical infrastructure unless Iran agrees to negotiate.

“Next week it gets really bad for them because next week comes the power plants. Next week comes the bridges,” Trump said. “We’re going to knock out all their power plants. We’re going to knock out all their bridges unless they get to the table and negotiate.”

The remarks came as US forces conducted strikes against Iran for a fourth consecutive day. The United States has also reimposed a naval blockade on Iranian ports, further increasing pressure on Tehran.

The latest developments indicate that the ceasefire announced on June 17 has effectively broken down, with tensions increasingly centered on control of the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.

When asked how long the US military operation would continue, Trump said the campaign would persist until he decides otherwise.

“They’ll continue until I say it’s enough,” the US president said.

The latest statements underscore a further escalation in the confrontation between Washington and Tehran, with diplomatic efforts appearing to have stalled amid ongoing military operations.
