U.S. Embassy senior defense officials met with Haiti’s Minister of Defense Mario Andresol to discuss urgent security challenges. Discussions centered on U.S. support to Haiti and enhanced cooperation to counter terrorist gangs who continue to destroy the country and cause suffering to the Haitian people. Haiti’s security and stability is important to the United States.
