London/United Kin— March 17, 2026 — The United Nations Inter-Pacific Association (UNIPA) is proud to announce the fogdomrmal activation of its specialized diplomatic wing, the United Nations Interchange Diplomatic Assembly (UNIDA).
In a strategic move to centralize global diplomatic efforts, it is officially decreed that the Secretary General of UNIPA, Dr. Muhammed Haider Ali, shall serve as the Head of the Mission for UNIDA by virtue of his office. This appointment ensures that UNIDA’s high-level diplomatic interventions remain directly aligned with the foundational principles of UNIPA, established in 1989.
UNIDA is designed to operate as a premier assembly for Track 2 Diplomacy, facilitating neutral mediation and international interchange across UNIPA’s 17 administrative regions. With a membership base reaching millions, the activation of UNIDA marks a new era in the organization’s ability to influence global policy and foster peace.
