The Indonesian Minister of Religion was warmly and respect welcomed by Prof.Dr. Martin Kustati M.Pd. The Governor of West Sumatra, Mr. Mahyeldi Ansharullah, also welcomed the arrival of the Indonesian Minister of Religion at Minangkabau International Airport di Ketaping.
Prof.Dr.KH. Nasaruddin Umar, M.A really appreciate the natural beauty and culture of Padang, Indonesia. The diverse Minangkabau culture adds to the diversity.
He explained that Religious Education in West Sumatra and Padang city is very proud. Islamic religious education has produced many agents of change in knowledge and scientists in Indonesia. Many writers, authors, lecturers, lawyers, and scientists were born from religious campuses dan UIN Imam Bonjol Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia.
A great and proud achievement from the Qori and Qori ‘ah who read the Al-Quran. Religious Judges. Famous Writers. West Sumatra should be proud of all the achievements and progress made by the Academics of UIN Imam Bonjol Padang and have successfully held International Seminar between Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN).
Islamic Religious Education Institute and UIN Imam Bonjol Padang has initiated various quality of religious education at UIN and PTKIN all over Indonesia.
Hopefully West Sumatra and the city of Padang can maintain the Islamic religion and spreading Islamic religious education to improve morals, ethics and characters from the Agent of Change. Always put your trust and faith in Allah to build a strong nation and state.
